Scholarship programme for first-year students at OPTIMA Vocational Pre-University College

The scholarship programme of the ‘For the Future of Children’ Charitable Foundation is being implemented in partnership with OPTIMA College. The aim of the programme is to support young people who wish to pursue a career and to ensure that every child has access to high-quality, modern and flexible education, regardless of where they live or their circumstances.

We are now accepting applications for the scholarship programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Scholarships are awarded to first-year students entering OPTIMA College in the following specialisms:
•    Management,
•    Marketing,
•    Journalism,
•    Computer Science,
•    Graphic Design,
•    Hospitality and Catering.

OPTIMA College offers innovative educational programmes, bespoke courses and a personalised approach to every student.

The Foundation’s scholarship programme is much more than just financial support. It is a real opportunity for young people to continue their education, gain a profession and build a future even in the most difficult circumstances. For many families, this support becomes a lifeline, helping them to overcome difficulties, adapt to new living conditions and maintain faith in the future.

Who is eligible for a scholarship

Scholarships are intended for children under the age of 18 who fall into the following categories:
•    children with post-traumatic conditions or chronic illnesses;
•    children who, during the war (2014–2027), have lost one or both parents (killed, missing in action or held captive);
•    children of military personnel with ‘Combatant’ status;
•    children living in de-occupied, temporarily occupied territories or in regions close to the fighting;
•    internally displaced children;
•    children from large families (three or more children).

Scholarship eligibility criteria

The scholarship covers between 62% and 100% of the tuition fees at OPTIMA College and depends on the course of study and the category to which the applicant is assigned.

Who can apply

Children under the age of 18 may apply:
•    who reside in Ukraine (including temporarily occupied territories);
•    who are temporarily abroad due to the war.

Parents or legal guardians must provide documents confirming the child’s status. All applications are reviewed by the foundation’s specialists in conjunction with representatives of the educational institution.

How to help

You can join the programme and support children who are keen to learn.

Every contribution is not just aid, but an investment in the future of Ukrainian children who, despite all the difficulties, continue to learn, develop and believe in a better future.
