On February 24, 2022, Andriy sent Olga and her mother to a safe place and voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He, a young and talented scientist, became a serviceman of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and took part in his first battle just two days later. In May 2022, he was awarded the Order of Courage III degree. Andriy was also the best loving dad for Olga. They spent a lot of time together, both in love with the mountains, planning to climb Hoverla together. Olga often recalls how she and her dad conquered three mountains together and spent the night in the Carpathian primeval forest. She was only 7 years old at the time, but with her dad, everything was easy, and with her dad, nothing was scary. Olga took the news of her dad's death very hard. The third grade, which she attended in the Czech Republic, was very challenging. Therefore, the family was looking for the best Ukrainian online school because this form of education would be the best for Olga, and it would rekindle her desire to live, learn, and succeed.
