Unfortunately, due to the war, we were forced to leave our native home in the city of Mariupol. My mother, grandmother, and uncle were killed by a direct hit of a missile on our apartment, and the apartment was destroyed. I miraculously survived that dreadful day. My aunt, along with my cousin, took me and we went to Sweden. We were very fortunate that your foundation helps children with their education during these difficult times.
