Free access to the Optima School educational platform and education for children during the first months of the war

During the war, we helped more than 100,000 children complete the 2021–2022 school year for free. About half of the students studied in Ukraine, and the rest – in other countries, mostly in the EU.

Students on the charitable education package had the opportunity to study through unique lessons from Optima – Ukraine’s first and largest distance school. The program is planned and organized exclusively for distance learning. The platform is available 24/7, allowing children to receive quality education under any conditions, anywhere in the world. We compensate most of the cost of educational packages for children.

Families that used the charitable package highly rated the quality and convenience of the education. Many of them continued their distance learning afterward.

Access to education was provided free of charge to all children who needed to continue their studies until the end of the academic year in May 2022. This was an unprecedented experience of distance education for so many Ukrainian students!

Completed Project

Scholarship program for children affected by Russian aggression in the 2022–2023 academic year

As part of the project, a scholarship program was organized for the 2022–2023 academic year for children from the most vulnerable categories. A total of 839 students benefited from it.

Scholarships were awarded to students in grades 1–11. Children study remotely with the best lessons and original educational materials from Ukraine’s first and largest distance school, Optima.

The scholarship program was created to support children in the following categories:

  • whose parents died in the war;
  • evacuated from active combat zones;
  • living in temporarily occupied territories;
  • whose parents are military personnel;
  • who have post-traumatic conditions or health issues.

Scholarships cover the annual cost of education at Optima school or compensate for most of the payment.

Completed Project

Scholarship program for the 2023–2024 academic year

Based on the successful 2022–2023 scholarship program that supported over 800 students, the foundation organized a new round for the 2023–2024 academic year.

Scholarships are awarded to students in grades 1–11. Ukrainian children can study remotely using the best lessons and original materials from Optima distance school.

The scholarships are designed to help children in the following categories:

  • whose parents died in the war;
  • evacuated from active combat zones;
  • living in temporarily occupied territories;
  • whose parents are military personnel;
  • who have post-traumatic conditions or health issues.

Scholarships cover the annual tuition at Optima or compensate most of the cost.

We invite you to help Ukrainian children affected by the war. They will receive high-quality distance education, official documents, and a chance to plan a successful future!

Completed Project

Charity program for grades 1–11 students. Free access to materials for any 2 subjects for 3 months

The 'For the Future of Children' foundation, together with Optima School, offers a unique opportunity for all students in grades 1–11. Pupils receive free access to educational materials from Ukraine’s first and largest distance school for any two subjects for three months.

The program supports Ukrainian students who missed lessons or received poor-quality education (entire courses or individual subjects) during the 2022–2023 academic year. Unfortunately, these learning gaps are widespread in Ukraine due to various reasons: proximity to combat zones, power outages, air raid disruptions, lack of teachers due to evacuation, etc.

The program includes:

  • introductory testing with assessment of knowledge gaps;
  • access to one year’s worth of materials for three months;
  • independent work with interactive educational content;
  • teacher support via text chat.

Students will be able to catch up on the school program and gain quality knowledge. The program is available not only in Ukraine but also abroad. Regardless of location, we ensure high-quality education for your child.

Immersion in visual art through exploring techniques and expression
The course taught me to understand art. I’m satisfied with it. I liked how they explained the process of creating fonts in detail. I designed a few of my own characters. I now use them in comics I draw myself.
Maryna
Fundamentals of graphic design
I don’t like coding but want to work online. I chose the graphic design course and don’t regret it. I’ve already created over 20 designs without writing a single line of code. I like that the teacher always helps choose the right program and settings.
